Trails & Recreation

The NJQHA has a very active trail/pleasure ride contingent.  We generally hold 4 all breed charity rides each year at various locations to benefit 4 compelling charities.  These rides are open to the public.  The rides include a hot breakfast, door prizes, a silent auction and our famous hot and hearty meal following the ride!

Many thanks to all of our volunteers without whom these rides would not be possible!

NJQHA members and friends tailgateing after participating in the Amwell Valley Hounds Hunter Pace held November 9 at the Hillsborough Country Club.  The pace was approximately 8 miles long  through beautiful Amwell Valley.

Volunteerism

NJQHA members, along with Amwell Valley Trail Association members, volunteer at the Somerset County Horse & Pony Association 25 Mile Competitive Trail Ride.  The Ride, held on Nov. 2 was along the D&R Canal and Six Mile Run in Hillsborough.  Pictured are Sally, Tony Alimecco, Susan Auer and Barbara Lipani.
