BRIANNA IZZI RECEIVED PROCLAMATION!
NJQHA Youth Member Brianna Izzi is 15 years old, lives in Hunterdon County and attends Hunterdon Central Regional High School. She shows her horse, Dress Radical, AKA Pepi in Equitation, Horsemanship, Showmanship, Pleasure, HUS and Western Riding.
She first started out just ”talking” to Pepi in his stall and then slowly started to ride him. They formed a very special bond and decided to lease him and then decided to buy him! He had never been shown before, working consistently and diligently the two have formed an unbreakable bond.
Last year the team sat out most of the Show season due to and injury. She understands the ups and downs of horse ownership and competition. This year she and Pepi qualified to be on the NYATT team. They are looking forward to showing with her team mates at the QH Congress in October.
Her home town wanted to recognize her and Pepi for their achievements and invited them to a special presentation of an Official Proclamation honoring her and thus representing the NJQHYA during the NYATT competition.
Brianna feels honored to be part of such a wonderful organization with such great opportunities! It should be noted that Brianna will receive $1000 from NJQHYA to help with expenses. The youth organization is very strong and dedicated to the sport.
Brianna trains with her mother NJQHA member, Michelle Izzi, who is the Trainer and Head Coach for Rutgers University Western Team. For information: www.mizzihorsetraining.com
