NJQHA Supports the Readington Trail Association Halloween Event

 

NJQHA donated prizes and provided volunteer support for the RTA Costume Contest and Trail Challenge Course on Sunday, October 20th.  The event was held at the Round Valley Youth Center in Lebanon, NJ.

 

There were very creative horse and rider costumes from competitors of all ages.  The obstacle course was successfully navigated by competitors in all 4 division- Youth, In-Hand, Training Level and Open.  Ribbons and prizes were awarded to the winners of the costume contest as well as the Obstacle Course.

AN EVENING WITH THE VETERINARIANS

Hosted by Martha Hoff of High Honors Farm

On October 1, a seminar was held at the Millstone Valley Fire Dept.

 The topic was Equine GI Tract & Colic, the guest speaker was Dr. Michael Fugaro and Dr.Jessica Martin of Mountain Point Vet Services in Long Valley.  Dr. Fugaro explained from mouth to rectum and everything inbetween.  Photos of colic surgery showed real life situations.
