2021 Year-End Banquet

The NJQHA 2021 Year-End Awards Banquet will be held Saturday, January 15th at the Breakers on the Ocean in Spring Lake, New Jersey. Awards, giveaways, membership discounts, food, and fun!! Reservations and payment must be made in advance. Please print, fill-out and mail the reservation form with your payment made to the NJQHA to Kaycie Reilly by December 31st.

2021 NJQHYA NYATT Team: Lauren Goolsby, Zoe Squashic, Adrianna Goolsby and Ella Kuchta (L to R)

Congratulations to the NJ NYATT Team!

The 2021 All-American Quarter Horse Congress was held September 28 - October 24 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio. After completing their fundraising and volunteer hour requirements plus accumulating national points in their designated classes, four riders were identified to represent the New Jersey NYATT Team: Adrianna Goolsby, Ella Kuchta, Lauren Goolsby and Zoe Squashic. Under the guidance of Youth Advisor, Michelle Kuchta, these ladies competed in Showmanship, Western Pleasure and Horsemanship against over 65-90 riders per class from across the nation. Adrianna Goolsby aboard Hes Genuine Absolute was able to capture a Top 20 honor in Western Pleasure. A special thank you to Julie Petonak for designing this year's fringed jackets!

Please check your email. The 2021 year-end award selection for the Amateur and Open categories were sent out November 6th via email by our Secretary, Heather Goolsby. Thank you Kelly Butz for her hard work in seeking these great options including awards, cash or gift cards!

 

Please send in your award selection no later than Wednesday, November 17th.

Sussex County Horse Show

Another Year Added to One of the Longest Running QH Shows

Thank you to the Sussex County Horse Show for hosting the Quarter Horse Show on August 5-7 in Augusta, New Jersey. This show has been an approved QH show since 1958! Aside from the beautiful weather, the exhibitors enjoyed an Exhibitors' Dinner, Freestyle Showmanship Showdown fun class, fair food & rides, great awards, and an awesome time with fellow friends & competitors!
