The 2021 All-American Quarter Horse Congress will be held September 28 - October 24 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio. Four of our NJQHYA members will be representing New Jersey in the National Youth Activity Team Tournament (NYATT) on October 17 in various classes including Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure and Horsemanship. Totten Named Second Vice President of AQHYA
 

Congratulations to Adriana Totten, our Youth Region 5 Director, who was elected as the Second Vice President on the AQHYA Executive Committee. Her one-year term appointment was announced at the 2021 Bank of America Youth Excellence Seminar in Amarillo, Texas. Totten posted, "This is an opportunity that is beyond my wildest dreams, and I am so excited to bring my ideas and goals for this year to fruition". Sussex County Horse Show

Another Year Added to One of the Longest Running QH Shows

Thank you to the Sussex County Horse Show for hosting the Quarter Horse Show on August 5-7 in Augusta, New Jersey. This show has been an approved QH show since 1958! Aside from the beautiful weather, the exhibitors enjoyed an Exhibitors' Dinner, Freestyle Showmanship Showdown fun class, fair food & rides, great awards, and an awesome time with fellow friends & competitors!
